Our Process

A Voyage Through Interesting Coffee Flavors

Equine Coffee scientists traveled the world looking for the most exceptional flavors to produce our finest products. They went on a pursuit for the best coffee crop fields in the Americas, Africa, and Asia, taking into consideration factors such as soil, water, and weather conditions. Each plantation produces coffee with rare characteristics, the same that our clients can enjoy, thanks to the quality of our process.

Crop

Every single stage, from seed planting to harvesting, is critical. That is why we make sure that the beans used in our blends are cropped and harvested under the most distinguished methods. For a premium quality coffee, we rely on our carefully designed principals. The best coffee producers located in tropical and subtropical regions are selected by evaluating the climate, altitude, average level of shade, and collection processes of their lands, in order to obtain strong, healthy plants that will produce only premium beans.

Roasting

The most essential stage, where the wide range of flavors preset in our capsules are born. Green beans are roasted as necessary to get to the impeccably desired aroma and flavor. The roasting timing and temperature govern each one of our flavors. Therefore we give each flavor the suitable time and temperature needed to achieve the supreme roast.

Capsulation

Equine Coffee packaging and quality is steady with the unique properties of our capsules. The capsules have a temperature migration certification, i.e. when the material is in contact with hot water, it does not lose its properties or leave any particles that could modify the flavor. Our capsules have a 99.9% hermetic seal, and are not punctured upon brew. Through this system, machine needles push the lid and open it to let the water pass through.

Quality Control

Equine Coffee conducts a quality control where freshly harvested coffee is tasted; after it has been left to brew, we ready to perform a pre-shipment tasting; once the coffee arrives, prior to roasting, it is tasted again to verify that there was no variation, and a physical analysis is completed. At Equine Coffee facilities, we enforce strict quality controls in all processes where coffee is the main ingredient. Additionally, all production stages meet a tough food safety system, adhered to FDA laws and regulations and all Kosher standards are followed.
